The Support Services Division is the second largest division within the Police Department.  The activities of this division include all aspects of criminal investigations, maintaining the Records Division, Courts Division and Communications Division.

 

 Lt. Michael Leal began his law enforcement career with the City of Bellaire in August of 1988. He has held the positions of Patrol Officer, Detective, Patrol Corporal, Patrol Sergeant and Detective Sergeant. Lt. Leal is a Firearms and Defensive tactics instructor and currently holds an Advanced Peace officer Certificate. Lt. Leal is also a member of the Bellaire Police Tactical Team. Lt. Leal graduated from the Law Enforcement Leadership Command College in August 2000.
